    Teacher Nima began her journey in special needs Education as she was passionate in bringing the true potential in kids with different learning needs.

    Teacher Nima has taught in both School and Centre based for kids Under spectrum, Global development delay and ADHD.

    Teacher Nima advocates inclusive schools for children with different learning needs. She helps the child to integrate and Nuture in the condusive environment.

    "My daughter was detected with ASD and had delayed speech and learning disabilities. We were visited by Purnima to asses my daughter’s learning capabilities and also to help her develop her communication skills. Purnima has worked with my girl for around 2 years now and she is currently working with us to help my daughter in improving her fine motors and cognitive skills. We can vouch for her methods as it has worked very well with my girl. Purnima started an overall development program for my girl , starting with improving her communication and then helping her to write independently. In the next few months, she helped my girl in listening and phonics skills slowly helping her increase her attention span. She has also helped my girl as a Shadow teacher in her preschool in K2. With her help, my daughter who is socially awkward was able to respond to her peers in school. She also provided art and craft lessons to my girl to increase her focus span during different task. Currently my girl is in Primary 1 and she is confident to go to school and stay in class without meltdowns. She is now learning reading and is able to hold conversation with other people. Purnima’s help as an abled allied educator and development expert help my girl get confidence in social as well as in her school activities."

    "I have 2 children under the care and therapy provided by Miss Nima. My son Shane (aged 5 years) has been receiving therapy for more than 2 years, whereas my daughter Kimberly (aged 3 years) has been receiving therapy for 1 year. I have seen tremendous improvements in both my children. Prior to starting therapy, both my children were not very verbal, and easily “shut down" when they got upset, such as closing their eyes or even lying down. Ever since the both of them started therapy under Teacher Nima, they have become much more verbal. I can have a conversation with my son now, when before he would barely speak. He can tell me about his day what he likes and dislikes, and have simple conversations with his peers. In fact, he can even read now, and can do well enough in his spelling and penmanship. My daughter was speaking only baby-talk before, but now can speak a bit more, and answer simple questions. She understand what yes and no means now, and can answer questions that offer her that choice. She can make simple requests and can express her curiosity now, such as asking where we're going, and can even understand the responses because she reacts to the answers. Her speech is becoming more clearer as time passes, which makes me very happy. She can hold a pencil now and scribble, and can now say her own name which she couldn’t do before. I am very thankful that Teacher Nima has helped bring out the best in my children. As a mother, all I want for my children is that they will eventually be able to make it to a normal mainstream primary school, and I know my children are in good hands."
